We’re not here to give your dog the bare minimum, no rushed grooms, no chaotic, and no overcrowded daycare. “Good enough” haircuts and handling are not in our culture and not permitted!

As a Black woman, I know curly hair isn’t just “curly” — there’s 4C, 4B, and everything in between. My sister can’t stand her hair pulled, while my elder sister could survive a UFC fight. Your dog’s curls are just as unique.

As a dog lover and an advocate for personalized care, I noticed a gap in the world of pet services. While there were countless platforms for pet care, none catered specifically to the needs of curly, wiry or wavy - haired dogs—dogs whose coats require special attention, breaks during grooming, lots of patience and offering free basic grooming during day care or boarding . Thus, Block Yellow was born.
