It’s always best to start them young, ideally between 4 weeks to 6 Months so they get used to grooming and being held by someone else. This could be done in one or two sessions depending on puppy’s adaptability :
Session One
socializing with our trained dogs
play time
familiarizing with grooming tools and environment
head to paw pads rubs/massage ( our favorite ! )
Session Two
play time
a bath,
fluff dry
nail trim
ear clean
trimming around their face, paw and sanitary ares.

Preparing Your Dog for Grooming
Familiarize Your Pup: Introduce your dog to grooming tools like brushes and clippers before the appointment. Let them sniff and explore these items to reduce anxiety.
Brush Regularly: A week or two before the grooming session, brush your dog’s coat to remove tangles and loose hair. This helps make the grooming process smoother and less stressful.
Bathing Prep: If your dog has an aversion to baths, give them a gentle wipe down with a damp cloth to start getting them used to being handled in water.
Practice Handling: Spend time touching your dog’s paws, ears, and tail to make them comfortable with being handled in those areas.
After Grooming Care
Maintain the Coat: Brush your dog’s coat regularly (at least 2-3 times a week) to prevent matting and keep curls bouncy and healthy.
Use the Right Products: Invest in a good quality dog shampoo and conditioner designed for curly-haired breeds. This will help retain moisture and maintain that fresh, groomed look.
Hydration is Key: Ensure your dog stays hydrated with plenty of fresh water to help keep their skin healthy.
Routine Check-Ups: Schedule regular grooming appointments to keep their coat in top shape, and don’t forget to check for any tangles or discomfort between visits.
Following these steps will help your dog look fabulous while feeling comfy, because pampering shouldn’t just look good—it should feel good too! 🐾✨
